The Manufacturing Module for BardPOS streamlines the transformation of raw materials into final products through a structured process. It encompasses two primary steps: Recipe and Production. The Recipe aspect involves specifying exact proportions of raw materials or ingredients to ensure quality in the final product. Production then calculates the total quantity of raw materials needed to manufacture a designated quantity of the product.
Key functionalities include cost and wastage calculations, which are critical for determining the final product’s price by accounting for raw material, labor, and operational costs, as well as managing waste from both raw materials and finished products. The module also introduces lot numbers for traceability and expiration dates to ensure product safety and compliance.
Additional features like Permission & Roles offer control over user access to certain functionalities. The settings allow for the adjustment of ingredient quantities during production and the customization of production reference numbers. This module, an optional extension to BardPOS, significantly aids in the efficient management of manufacturing processes.
